I'm with you on this one. I've been to 140 on the road as well as a lot of you I'm sure. The lines become dots then one solid line.. this guy doesnt look like he's doing 200+, none the less he was freaking moving by the time he came out of that wheely... 2nd gear took him to like 100mph, I dont own a super bike is that possible? listen for the gears and look at the speed.. maybe I'm wrong?

the KPH is on the inside of the speedo not the outside... hence why at 200mph the kph inner number is between 310-330km/h

Bike is geared down...simple as that. Bike speedos are off horribly (around 10%) from the factory anyway.

Ex:I had my bike to 169 mph indicated on saturday. I know for a fact through GPS that my speedo is off by 10.5% (My bike is geared down 1 tooth in the front), so I was ONLY going 151 mph true ground speed.

I know it's hard to believe on that video.... but it looks fast for sure. One thing I know though is that when I went to a Suzuki dealer asking for a test drive on the 1300cc Hayabusa he said "nobody test drives that one unless they buy it" -- a few days later my brother in law went to another dealer asking the same question and he did get the same answer.

That tells me something about a 1300cc hi-tech rocket.

To this day it seems like this bike still holds the title of world's fastest motorcycle.

Must be time to dust off that 1000 hp s/c'd Viper vs the built GSXr on spray video. I will never forget how the speedo on the bike went 120, 130, 140, 150, & out of picture as fast as my tach moves in 2nd gear. Bikes are just plain STUPID fast anymore! Way too fast for an old man like me to ride.

I rode with the GPS unit on and compared True GPS ground speed to what my speedometer said. It's simple math from that point on to figure out the error percentage.

My bike is not regeared and I can do 80 mph in first gear no problem. Yes the speedo is typically off about 10% from the factory. When I go through the traps in the 1/4 my speedo reads 148-149 and my slip says 138-139. I have some friends with turbo Busa's, but most are just spraying. As for the GPS ?? - Alot of people have a GPS system that they mount on the tank of the bike and it will track you (distance traveled in a certain time) thus calculating your speed. That video is 100% believable.
