Default cam swap worth it?

Here are the specs that were recommended to me: 226/231 .556 .530 112 lsa. Is it worth the time and money over the tr224/224 .563 .563 112lsa that I already have. My numbers are in my sig. How much should I expect to gain?
This cam was spec'ed per my application and current combo so not looking for cam suggestions.

Just curious, if you do replace your current cam, is it fairly new/reliable and would it make a decent cam-only car for mine** do ya think? If so, I might be interested in taking it off your hands provided it isn't thrashed and could be used in my application..........

Also, how is the driveability? This is my DD/only car for now so hopefully it would be semi-streetable.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

** LT headers, true dual exhaust, cold air kit, lid, smooth bellows, ported TB, 160 thermo, M6, stock heads, etc.

Ryan had tried different cams in the 22Xish on his old car/combo. We saw little difference except for a little power band extension. Say above 6600ish rpm. Some heads do respond better to small changes in duration, low 230's is where you start to see big power changes...

Yea thats what I was thinking that the gain would be minimal if any. This is the cam motion custom cam request. Gave them my current setup and they matched the cam to it. I'm guessing the big exaust split is due to the occasional nitrous usage I indicated.

Chris I doubt that you would see much gain with the slightly larger cam. Maybe 4 or 5 at peak would be my guess. In other words it AIN'T worth the work involved to change it out. By the way when do you want the rear rotors?

I'll try to get in and pick them up before x-mas. My mom is coming out next week on the 20th so I'll get a break and be able to get away without it costing me money for someone to watch the kids. You going to be around til friday of that week 21-23? Can you shoot me a pm with the price.

Thanks guys but I think I am gonna hold off......the more I think about it the more I would prefer the 114 LSA, plus I just might be buying a Rottie pup this weekend, so all my spare cash is gonna go to that and spoiling her rotten.....and alllllll the puppy stuff I will need to buy that I haven't needed in 10 years.

I really appreciate it though.
