Well All the info i have gotton is peak numbers, but they look pretty nice. They haven't even attemted to spray it yet, still trying to get the timeing down.

7**hp at 7650
6**TQ at 5500
Don't have a graph yet. I had to fight to get those numbers out of him. most of the time they do a dyno run they don't even record the numbers, and just let track times do the talkin. Juinor is not a big fan of dyno numbers, as he puts it "Numbers don't pay the bills, Timeslips Do"

Hopefully when the project is all done i will get to put it on a dyno myself and then have some numbers for you all, but for now that will have to do.

I am not diapointed one bit, it will be interesting to see the drivline loss throught the new tranny, Like i said the tunning is not completly finish they are still trying to dial in the timming box, should also be interesting what the spray numbers are....hopefully by the end of the week we should see what a 400 shot does to it

Default New numbers

Ok got an update for you guys.

How much HP do you get when you take an ls2 434 at 15-1 and spray 500 to it?

NONE! 2 out of 8 cylinder liners crack and hyd lock the motor
So needless to say the motor is getting a iron block done right now, with o-rings, drilled for 1/2 head studs, half filled, and so on. So i will have to take the weight hit but o well, so stand by for new numbers, in a few weeks.
It does make me feel better that when it let go it was making well over 1K hp
So i think i have found the limit of the alluminum block, from what the guys say the internals are in great shape except for the two piston in the busted holes, but as for the motor it self there was no detination and a/f looked to be 12.8-13.1 up until the time it let loose, think it was just a case of too much cylinder pressure

Hydro-locked it eh? And here I thought only fuely cars did that ****. And it went over 1k?! Impressive Sardog....sorry it let go, but impressive!!! As for the 80lb iron block hit, what you're doing will make it worth while.

Yes it does, sometimes even if you do everything right. It don't take long for 1000hp to find the weak spots either.....I'm sure you'll get er done, like always. Keep us posted.

They are picking up the tab for the new build, come to find out last night when i called juinor, they didn't think it would hold together with the alluminum block but that is what i wanted, so that is what they did. with all the work getting done to the iron it comes out about the same price as the alluminum was, but the iron motor should hold the power all day long .......or at least i hope it will, if not i guess that means big-block

That's cool Jason. Most places would make you eat the cost, since it was your idea. IMO the iron block should hold together better, if for no other reason that it doesn't have sleeves. I've never been a fan of that desgin for a hi-power motor. Seen too many slip....

That's awesome they're picking up the cost Dog. Such a rarity these days.
