Default Speed shops (Rant)

I am new to the tacoma and seattle area and I was looking for speed shops and well I found a couple and well it seems like they think that pontiacs namely my new Grand am is below them and didn't give me the time of day. But I am for sure if I came in with an import of some type I would have got great service. I know this is sorta off topic but I was wondering if there is anyone who would be able to tell me where there are good shops in the local area.
Thanks
Greg

My rec would be Wong Performance Engineering. He'll treat you right, has a professional shop, mustang dyno(best tuning tool) and is the best tuner on the west coast. He has cars brought to him from as far away as So Cal, his work stands for itself. He is tjwong on here and his shop is in Vancouver but didnt you say Sea-tac area? Ellis would be my rec up there.

You should of seen them when I came to get the GTO Dynoed. They had just got done telling me about how there Toyota matrix with a custom turbo set up hit 195wrhp and all the civic bois did not seem happy I was there. I now try to avoid the shops around S Tacoma Way and Steilacoom BLVD.

Was it the matrix with team exotik? he stopped by schwab when I worked there for some tire work. I guess he used a STS turbo kit from a toyota pickup and adapted it to work with his matrix.
