Bremerton vs Pacific

Bremerton vs Pacific
For those of you that have run both places, how do they compare with regard to:
Number of runs in a given time.
Track quality
Cost
Are your times better at one than the other? If so, by how much?
Any 1320 track around you like better?

Bremerton is clearly the superior track of the two as far as how many runs you get, track prep, cost, how efficiently they run the track. Times are usually a little faster.
Pacific has better bathrooms and a more professional facility.. That's about it. LOL

Bathroom? Don't you know you're not supposed to drink anything at the track, so you come home dehydrated and sunburnt?

PR has better track prep on T&T nights... Bremerton is better when the track has been prepped for times. I have run my best and worst times at Bremerton, at PR I am very consistant. I pick Bremerton over PR...but on T&T nights I go to Bremerton for the better place to hang out.. If I want to run good times, I go to Bremerton when there is T&T and a event going on at the same time.

I also prefer Bremerton in every way, except one! They need a better run off at the end of the track.
PR has a nice loop at the end that really allows you to slow down graciously.
When your trapping 120mph or more and its time to hit the brakes.....PR's track is more freindly! At Bremerton I feel like I have to stand on the brake pedal to make the strip exit.

I think the PR track is better, more consistant, better run off area. Bremerton is better run, I like Gordon, his wife, and the group that run the track better. I run at both the tracks it depends on the event.

this is wierd,
I have better times at Pacific
only raced there once, season opener for Street legal/test and tune
I started out about the same as the end of last year at bremerton,
then shaved off over 0.3 sec and added 2 MPH every run over bremerton.
and I was running my stock (400 treadware) tires
I ran at bremerton last friday (after them being closed for 2 dry street legal friday events)
and my best was up 0.2 from PR
(and I was running some Yokohama Advan a032r tyres (Treadware 60))
bremerton is nowhere as professional either,
they don't open sometimes (because they didn't schedule EMT's)
and they are supposed to run till dark, right?
they closed an hour before it started getting dark last week.
but I did get 20 runs in.

As far as the tracks compare cars will run the same times in the same conditions. Yes you may get 1 mph or 2 more at Bremerton due to the slope. I say choose on location or where a group is going. Let's say you run .05 sec better at one track, big deal. None of us in our street/strip cars are perfect drag racers so just go to a track and have fun. I go to PR because I am very close but if there was a race at both places and a gorup was going to Bremerton I would go with just for the BSing factor.
I have only gone to Bremerton twice. I didn't get more runs but I could see how that is more likely ther. There have been days where I have got 20 runs in one night at PR though. Some days things run well and some days it's all f'ed up!
