And the CCCA website & flyer says:

CCCA Rules
No Electronics
Mufflers required
DOT tires required
Current registration
NHRA/Track rules apply

I'm new at this, so I'm not sure how strict I have to be, but I do know the rules.....and I don't want to be the bad guy.

Am I ok on my studs with my slow assed car? What's the info on studs? Is there an ET number that decides when studs are needed?

You should be fine Rick. When you start running low 12s with sticky tires they will usually start to look harder. Stock wheels & lugs are supposed to be ok for 12s. The rule says "....threads must be engaged 1.5 times the diameter of the stud....". But when you hit 11s the rules change.

A Sable, huh? I'll race ya in my fwd Impala. I think that would be a heck of a race, just the type that someone would have to videotape.

I have only raced at the track 3 times I think, and the only time they asked about the DS loop was at Pacific, and the guy said he didn't see one, but be sure to bring one last time. That was also the only time I had a nitrous bottle in the back.

I'll meet up as well.

We showed up with plenty of time to prep and allow the car to cool two weeks ago.

Gah... hopefully the forecast improves! Otherwise, I may bring the Impala instead. I certainly don't want to be driving my Camaro all the way home on baked BFGs.
