So I am going to finally get the LT1 out to the track. I would like to see like 14.20 to 14.50. Car is running awesome, by the way.
Anyway I work with this guy who races all the time Chuck Wilkie, some of you may know him. His wife races a White Fox body that runs 11.6x at 115.xx.
Anyway he bet me 5 bucks the ole LT1 wouldn't breat 15.000 because of the gears.
So I just lauged and said your on.
So what do you all perdict?
I will Launch at about 1500 rpm and then lay into it. I will air down the rears to 18 to 20 PSI and air to fronts to about 40.

Street tires (DOT Radial) to 18-20? Eh.

Even 22 is pushing it.

Slap on some drag radials (@15psi) at the very least, with a good hard launch and you'll get it.

**** I air down my Radials to 20 all the time...I won't need drag radials to go 14s in this thing, my old loaded 6 speed did 14.00 with a miss.
