I might come see you tomorrow on my lunch break. God only knows when that will be (we are soooooo busy at work I usually don't even get a lunch) but I might make my way over there.

That figures........I want to go really bad but doubt I can walk that much. Right now I'm only good for about 2 hours then my leg goes numb.
I really want to go since its been about 6 years and I love watching the races from the water and wandering through the pits.
If no one else takes em' by Saturday let me know - I may try to at least go and take a ton of pain meds first which would make the races even more interesting

When did you change your name? Better than a project I guess

Skelaxin for the really bad days, usually half a tablet (not a big med person if I can help it). Tore a back muscle couple of weeks back then blew out a femoral vein from the groin to back of my knee, makes my leg go numb.
Doc is debating surgery on that.......

You had it right: femoral vein and femoral artery. The artery is much deeper and flowing just fine, the vein is just under the skin and while you can see how ugly it is blown out, the only thing its affecting right now is the nerve. We may wait up to 6 months and see if blood supply picks up somewhere else which will stop irritating the nerve (I hope!).
What makes it funny is I can't bend forward from my back and can't stand up straight from my leg

you get older and you find humor in stuff like this
