Orange Monster is gone My car sold! I'm no longer a firebird owner but I'll keep lurking around from time to time.
I hope because I'm no longer a muscle car owner I won't be forbidden to gather at hOOters with you all.
Wife is doing better, back to work as of yesterday but still with a feeding tube. Our hope is that before Christmas the damn tube will be out so she can start eating a little again....
Now I'm thinking about getting a certain car that has an all new 380hp V-8 that has intake cams controlled by electric motors and a certain praised 8-speed auto trans.... we'll see.

Oh man, I know you needed to sell it but that sucks in a way. Its that flip where there are too many ***** in the air to juggle so you make the call.
Good to hear you wife is getting a little better (TPN sucks) though it can take a good year after to gain even a couple of pounds. Don't sweat that part, soon enough pizza will be devoured after picking it up in a new 380hp V-8

Thanks guys for all the kind words towards the wife! She appreciates indeed.
Trust me it was NOT an easy decision to sell my bird... And Steph yes, it's staying local - a guy from Tacoma bought it. So maybe Ellis will get some calls eventually if he has to change/install stuff. I told him Ellis is the best in WA hands down
And HitmanLSX is right on the money.... LS-460 it is.... I test drove it and it is **VERY** nice.
My love affair with WS6 cars isn't over though. I'm sure I'll own another one in the future. I just have to

You could put in the cash from the TA on a down payment for that Lexus, arent they like 80k?
I would just skip over another WS6 and nab a C6 Z06 for that price! Or wait for the new super vette

I definitely symphathize with anyone who has to sell their baby since I know exactly how it feels. I still miss mine from time to time and you will to. Life moves on though and nobody keeps cars forever. I'm sure you'll love your new car though ... can I borrow it ?!

Why GM just doesn't put I/C on with their cars I don't understand why.
I think part of it might just have to do with outshining the Z06, but that is kind of a lame excuse. GTP was intended to have a I/C with the blower and would put it around 305 hp rated, which would have put it above a stock LT1, which I think is why they didn't go with it.

HA... that video was funny. If I buy a LS-460 it won't have that feature, I am not that handicapped. But I have to tell you, the fit and finish of this car is absolutely top-notch and easy to use. The Germans must be having nightmares.

I'm not going to upgrade until around February ... I hope ... but holding off any more work on the car. Primary focus is just getting it in the right A/F level, running stable without hesitation and all of that.
