Could it be the injection system? I don't think Mark is a closet Queen, but I have been wrong before.

I am guessing the M/S We made some progress today but every once in a while it would just go F-ing haywire. I gave him my spare but it was a newer version. It can be tricky as some things just seem backwards from what you would think they should be.

I know know of two issues mark HATES. First is the way it starts. Never the same way twice. Second the way it just goes off in its own world at times. Idles bouncing all over or just shutting down.

All though he could still just be coming out of the closet

Those are really odd issues... The power one I haven't seen before. Try turning off the WB feedback. Just make it run open loop, try getting it dialed in that way then turn on feedback and limitiit to a 5% correction. Other things to look at are the inputs, make sure the inputs are consistent. Like no big steps in throttle position, Temperature, etc...

Can the power spikes be traced to any specific action? I remember that when we first got it going, it happened when you would get on it. Is it still the same way? What exactly did You guys work out for a power filter?

I have two spares that are version 1. One is ready to install and the other just needs the case ends fabricated.

Yeah, the way we had it running when we got to your shop was very encouraging Ellis. Then for NO F-ing reason it just started running like crap. I almost didn't make it home.....missing, backfiring, trying to die at every stop. I will probably try putting your box in first to see if it's something wrong with the box, but I'm pretty fed up with this.

I know it works...for others anyway. But I have ZERO patience for things that don't work properly on MY car. Oscar NO LIKEY!!! The good news is I learned some things I had set wrong on the fuel, so maybe I'll buy HPT 3 Bar & another MAP sensor & tweak it that way.

Oh, and I installed a stereo power filter on it Ryan. That helped the power spikes, but the injectors still seem to shut off randomly for 100mSec. And if the battery gets low it ***** up BAD! Don & Ellis & I talked about a way to fix that, but this other issue.....

And I should put a 6 sp in it too since they are SO much faster.....

But since it MAY be the answer to my fueling issues, I've decided to build a relay box to be able to switch back & forth between the MS & the stock PCM to control the injectors. At least I'm assuming from what Ryan said I can do that. So I'm not giving up on it, but I DO want to be able to drive my car....
