I had a colt as well. very fun to mob on. had the economy power shifter, so fun it was like I had an 8 speed with two shifters. I cried when It got totalled. rearended so bad it smashed the bumper into the back tires. for the record though I was only 17. and I had bought the car myself. but I guess I would cry if my current car got totalled too. LOL

Nobody loves the Fox body more than me but putting a $25k+ motor into an under $10k car just doesnt seem like a good way to spend your time and money.
I remember back in the early 90s when these two Fairmonts were in a couple of magazines. One was a fastback with a Boss 429 and the other was a sedan with a Cammer. My first car was a fairmont (it was cheap) and even then I thought, what a waste. Why didnt they go find an old fastback Mustang or torino or something.

He's the undisputed king of markups too. Never seen such a markup on parts before. It's always been that way though, and 95% of the time he's had what I needed in a hotrod mod crisis. So ya pay whats on the item and don't bitch about it.
