Actually I'm thinking about taking my ride up there for some tranny work, is it bad to run a new clutch on a dyno?

I'll be up for it AFTER I get my car back from Ellis. He don't have it yet but should have it soon.

What are you projecting for a date, and have you talked to any of the dyno shops to see if they'd host one?

A dyno day would really help me make sure my A/F gauge is good and to see how much power I can make with out my A/F all fucked up.

I'm scheduled with the Guru as well.

I don't see why he wouldn't let us do a Feb date if that's what people want. I just figured March would leave more time for people to get their set-ups working, plus with a little luck it'll have stopped snowing by March.

I wouldn't think so. You aren't shifting hard on a dyno, just putting it to the metal once you are already firmly in gear.

The sooner the better, just let me know and I will be there...

IIRC last year was $40 for hook-up and first pull. $10 each additional pull. $25 for a/f hookup. I just e-mailed George to verify what the prices will be this year. I'll post as soon as I get a reply.

If that it what it ends up being, then count my in for sure. As long as its on the weekend, I should be able to make it.

Hey all, I got the reply from George regarding the rates. Here it is:

"Pat,
Thanks for choosing our shop fro the dyno day. For car clubs or dyno days I price the base run at 30.00 and additional runs at 10.00 each. A/F can be used providing there is a bung installed before the dyno day.
I charge 35.00 for a/f rental. I have a tailpipe a/f too but its not very accurate if the car has converters and it hard on the 02 sensors so I don't care to use it if possible.

Thanks George"

Also, this is going to be a combined ls1tech ls1gto event. It looks like interest is high all around so I expect we'll have a good size group show.

Ok, time to set a date. Turbo Tech does their dyno days on Saturday mornings starting at 9am. Let's hear your vote among the following options:

1. March 17th
2. March 24th
3. March 31st

I'll also post this on ls1gto. The date with the most votes will get booked.
