Had to fight with the dealership we bought it from to allow us to take it to the local dealership here town. But its at the dealership now being looked at.
it took me calling the selling dealerships sales manager & tellhim what we wanted. & they finally relented.

Sure sucks to buy a car and then have problem. We got a used H2 and had to get service in the first month. The dealer warranty turned out to be a friggin joke and we had to just deal with it. Oh well it's fixed now and we're very happy. Good luck with it.

Now its at the other dealership & they are great, I deal with these guys all the time & have no issues with the main dealership or any of the employees.
as for taking it to Turbo Tech. No more money is being spent on the vette until my car is up & running.
The place that sold you the car should be responsible for taking care of it. If they give you a car that they know isn't working properly they should be held acountable for that.
That is just some slimey *** ****........
I'll pray that everything gets worked out fine for you guys.
The Used Sales Manager was yelling at Dan over the phone & then said that they would be willing to give us $300 towards the fixing of the car. Then told him that we had to have the car TOWED at our cost to the dealership. Then telling him that Since we didnt go for the extended Warranty that we had no warranty with them & that they only use that to get people to buy the cars then they dump them. So the limited Warranty is useless. but when we talked to the Finance guy when he offered us the EW, Dan asked if the car would still be covered because of all the after market stuff on the car & he said NO. So we didnt wast our money.
We live 88.2miles away & I did call a local tow company & they said it would be like 450 just to get the car up there & then I would have to also pay extra for the flatbed truck.
Well after all this I got on the phone & called them Asking for either the GM or the owner. Niether were in today so I got transfered to service & they said they would be more than happy to help out but since we couldnt get the car there it was out of their hands.
Then I got a chance to talk to the USED Sales Manager & I told him straight out what we wanted was them to ok us taking it to baydos & getting it looked at so we know what was wrong with the car, not wanting to drive the car up risking the engine being damaged. Well he okayed that & after coming home from martial arts. I called baydo's to find out what the issuses were. When I talked to them They said they had already called Everett Chev & told them what the issues they were leaning towards & Everett okayed them working & FIXING THE car at Their cost (meaning Everett is paying for it) But they may still pull a couple fast things on us.
So with any hope the car will be back in our hands by the end of this week or next. If it is the ECM Baydos said it may take a while to get one but it should only take a few mins to install it then a few mins to reprogram it to the car.
