And yes, that is a Megasquirt and relay box sitting on the seat looking for a new home on the Fizzer lol..Stock tail:

Ya, it's not going to be a touring machine by any means. 150-250 mile rides per day is about tops on this one, which is fine by me. Mike
that's why I got the vfr (and the sargent seat)
The VFR's are damn nice sport touring bikes!

I have been interested in one but I don't want something that is going to throw my *** off the second I hit the throttle.
Brother-in-law is convinced that we can just start off with two Hybusa's and be set and learn on the fly!
Would be easier for him though, he has riden dirt bikes his whole life, but from what my dad tells me, they react differently in corners.Looking for something like a crotch rocket, not so much just the rocket though!

Kawisaki EX250 or EX500
Suzuki GS500
Suzuki Katana 600
Suzuki SV650
In most cases anything under 500cc or low powered 600cc. I know the SV doesn't fall in this catagory, but they seem to be the easiest to handle and are not too aggresive like the full on sport bikes (R6, ZX6R, GSXR600, etc.) And where it is your first bike, I highly recommend getting a used one, because you will most likely drop it a time or two. Nothing more frustrating than having a brand new bike and dropping, putting scratches, dents, or breaking parts on it.
Hope that helps.

My fiancee's brother just bought a Ninja 600RR (2006 IIRC) or whatever the full on race style version is and I sat on it....NOTHING like my old Ninja.......you could sit up almost straight on mine but his is basically a full on race bike which requires laying down........not gonna be something I get. Looking more towards the 650R as opposed to the ZZR600.

You also wanna look into the State sponsored motorcycle rider training course. VERY helpful, they provide bikes (at least the one in Cali does) and it beats learning by crashing!!!! A Busa is NOT a starter bike, just ask Ben Roethlisberger.
