Quite odd....
Damn! Now I'm REALLY glad I didn't get to go....

I like Bremerton better anyway. It has a more down home feel that I like much more. I just wish they had a longer run off for the cars. I feel like I'm litterally off my seat standing on the brakes after I pass the traps.........

Anyone else feel that way at Bremerton?

The runoff length wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't going downhill!

I burnt through some pads rather quickly because of that track.

Pacific is very slightly uphill from the end of the 1/4 to the first turnout. It then slopes downhill the rest of the way. I almost always get my braking done in time for the first turnout.

At Bremerton, otoh, I often end up going for the second turnout because I do have to brake hard to make the first one.

Not as much.

I now take the last exit, basically the road course back. I remember once I took that exit trying to save my brakes and there was a NASCAR Touring car there practicing on the back half of the track (going back and forth).

He was coming up to flip a U'e and I was heading straight for him as I crested the hill he came into view. It was a little dark and the last thing you expect is a stock car to be headed your direction regardless if he got out of the way. Those things don't have any lights on 'em either.

Hopefully no one has any issues with that oil secreting bump at Pacific.

The lack of safety gear is the biggest reason the Brute isn't ready. I ain't rolling out until I've got the gear installed. Just that simple.
