Looking for a local 3rd gen
Might see what your potential rates could be for insurance, having wiped out a car isn't going to make it exactly easy to get a low rate.
Could look into the Grand Prix GTP, I am partial, but they are nice and if a snow storm ever kicks up over there like it did this past year I can guarentee you wont have problems getting around.
I haven't on the east side of the state for the past three years I have had mine.

Last summer I found a 30k mile 88 IROC 5.0 5-speed in AMAZING condition. The place (Consignement lot) wanted 9k, got them talked down to 6500 but then they started playing games and dicking around so I told em to eat me.
Nice, low mile 3rd Gens on the West Coast are not usually below $5-6k

the last being i think my best bet. I know I know, a mustang. But I've always loved those fox body mustangs, and there next to impossible to beat for bang for the buck. and the after market is insane. let me know if any of you guys have seen these cars. and what you think of them. i am think i might want to get back into carbs. that what i started out with, and i love EFI, but carbs are just so much easier to work with and upgrade. and since my next car is not going to be a D/D (i have my prelude for that), i don't have to worry about reliability.
