Default Bad scratches on the nose of the Formie..

Any ideas on how to get them out without a buffer? I keep meaning to buy one, but I don't think I'll have enough time to get one here before all of the events coming up.. the whole area around the point of the nose has some pretty ugly scratches on it, I cringe every time I look at it, I don't even know how it got so bad, I wouldn't even touch the car in that area but they are real deep and I hope I can get them out...

That's the thing that sucks about having a non-factory paint job.. they scratch so easy... I hope I can get this, otherwise, I'm basically gonna have to repaint the nose of the freakin car.

Help.

That is a tough place, can't really wet sand there (I wouldn't try it) not sure what you are using but the Z swirl remover worked really well on the same place. Most but not all of those scratches came out, still needs a few coats over it to 'hide' them as best as possible.

Eventually it will have to be repainted though $$$$

If you come up with something good let us know.

This is gonna need a little more than swirl remover, unfortunately.

It's bad.

I've had great luck with my Porter Cable & Menzerna Intensive Polish followed by Menzerna II Polish & then wax....oh wait, you said WITHOUT using a buffer. Sorry.

You going to PR Friday night? I could probably bring our buffer and loan it to you.

Yep, I'll be there. You can hear my Formula sounding like a real muscle car.

If MrsSeaHawk cannot find hers, I have one you can use. It's nothing special, 10" variable speed, etc. Just lemme know. I am in Renton. but I am sure via the grapevine we can get it to ya.

Why not just cover it up with a "Dr. Evyl" decal?
