I'm still learning GenIV.......................oh well I may just have to get used to 450 HP stock.

very cool.... I'd like to see where they take it.... smaller displacement & DIG same output, better efficiency.

I'm just starting to learn/like gen III, and they keep moving forward...

I was surprised to learn the LS2/Gen IV had been superceded so soon. Compared to the LS1/Gen III, which had a production run from 1997-2005 (up to 2007 in some of the trucks), the LS2/Gen IV had a relatively short production run.

I wonder if the powertrain management systems will change dramatically.

So, what does the Z06 eventually get? LS8? ;-)

The engine management system will change. It has to in order to support the new configuration. As for the Z06 it will be dropped in another couple of years.
