I am out, or least as of right now, I may have to help my buddy out with his truck. I promised him way before the dyno day...

Correct???
Hell yea, I'll melt this bad boy down, if I have to, lol. Everything is fine, a false alarm, will be at dyno 3:30 tomorrow then on to Saturday. Only time will tell what we have for final numbers. I'll just be glad if we can avoid another trailer ride. realistically, prob be in the 700 range as we want to have the tune conservative. TR7s for tomorrow then, TR9's for Sat for insight.

Crazy, yep blew, or melted it down last year. But got best all over numbers by a margin with a pull to only 5x00rpm.

Robert

edit: George answered you above, but for the record you can have the cut out open

The diesel roadster just about melted the pop machine last week, I think we can deal with your cut out open if you wanted it.

Not good. The motor is fine, however, I had put a ls1 intake on to move the car around. Then this dyno day caught me with my pants down, so to speak. It's waaaay to restrictive for a big nitrous huffer and was 50rwhp down n/a, and running real rich. So no spraying till I get another intake. The a/f n/a was/is 11.7:1, and spraying my n2o set-up the way it is (rich safe) I would likely lift a ring land going with any size shot at all (to rich for spraying safely, esp big, as my dry hit is counting on the WOT PE Multiplier to command 13.x:1, then when spray hits, it's 10.5:1, so you can see how much richer it would be, like 9.0:1 or richer). So, we'll be there in the Vette, but will have to sit out the dyno pull. Maybe Ellis will give a show pushing for 700?

Oh man that sucks, that you didnt have time to get the intake replaced. I never realized that being too rich could be a problem for potentially breaking parts? Yeah I'll be there, and 700 is not out of the question. This is much colder air than my last dyno. I'm thinking of going early, to avoid a long line. Hope to see ya there!
