That was a 10.37, but hey who remembers those things. Oh and on a 125 shot

Well Robert has already conceded that the F-body is a VASTLY superior platform for straightline performance. So the 10.37 WS6 against the "handicapped" corvette platform's 10.8 is pretty impressive. I think we should have to put sandbags our Fbody's to make it even, double the weight if its a Auto with a converter

In Fact Robert I think you should just take off your Nitrous system and trade your Z06 for my SS and do a T400 conversion with the nitrous that would at least make it fair Just trying to be there for you man!

So you did that with a 100% bonestock ls1, that means no bolt ons, bonestock? If so, a great accomlishment and probably a world reknowned record, as I have heard of no one going faster. I could link you to the thread over at Vetteforum to see where the ls1's have placed bonestock with any power adder, as we had a thread looking for the fastest at least in the vette world. The current known is 10.5x, IIRC and a turbo. Chris Stewart has my time beat with his twin turbos, and is only .0x away from the 10.5 vette record. My 10.8 has been bumped to 3 or 4th spot of known ls6 stockers in vettes. More details please?

A better idea, how about we just trade engines that way you can keep the superior platform drag race f-bod, and then I'll have a chance with pure brute force?

Sleeping dog is right. Man, you are making my choice of going solid axle much easier. the two guys i know that have done this to there Z06s, one is running in the 7's and the other in the low 8's, wheelies and all, lol. Actually a guy did a write up on installing an f-bod rear susp with some mods into the vette. doesn't look real hard, but we need a good welder, wonder if Don is up to the task? Hey sleeping dog, when ya want to go to the dyno, maybe Feb? Mark?

Hey where is Sardog and the details on this 10.37 bonestock record? Is it really true... Hmmmmmmmmmm, a 13.x vehicle with a bonestock longblock and only a 125 shot and it runs a 10.37, a very remarkable gain indeed.

Oh OK. They were trying to knock me off my perch, trying to insinuate that my bonestock 10.85 is nothing, however, once again it's not apples to apples.

For all you big shots, and directed at no one in particular, the category was/is "Bonestock LongBlock with any Power Adder". No dog *** f-body has any chance in hell of getting anywhere near the Vettes in this regard, how ya like them coconuts.

Anyway, details would still be nice?

Yeah, I guess Sardog did have a cam & headers. Were your heads stock castings then Jason? But still, ONLY running a 125 shot should count for something compared to a 300 shot.....not to mention in a 3500lb car.

Doesn't matter Robert, that's ALL in the past. You will have NO excuses this year. Maybe you should start off slow. Me vs you, 408 w/power adder vs 408 w/power adder? DRs is fine with me. Even Ellis will be running DRs against you.

And I don't want to hear about dyno #s either. Yeah, I should have you covered in that arena, but I'm carrying a LOT more weight too. (almost 1,000 lbs last year!)

300 shot, I have never made a full pass with the 300, and only on my 408, see there again, you guys are trying to insinuate that I was running a 300shot, not even close. To give an example, I ran a 11.04 on a 100% bonestock ls6/Z06 with a 125shot and BFG 18inchers, a little more for the faster run. Can we find any F-bod anywhere close to even this slow run in stock form? As for excuses, well running a pure stock car is excuse enough for the past when comparing to some of the cars we have been up against; but, your right we are coming to get some this next year, win, loose or draw. Dyno, well we'll see about that, we're thinking I will hold my own quite well. We should set a date, so even Ellis can be ready, for a dyno day? What is your weight, 4xxxlbs?
