Default GMMG Chambered exhaust for sale $400 UPDATED *PICS* 56K NO WAY!

As some of you probably remember some time ago I traded my magnaflow system for a GMMG because the GMMG owner didn't want to **** off all the neighbors because it is quite loud. Well after a few months i'm in the same boat. My car is a DD and every morning when I fire it up at 5:30am I just cringe because i'm sure it's quite annoying to others who are trying to sleep.

Long story short i'm going back to magnaflow and am puting the GMMG up for sale.

It is in good condition. Prev owner said it had about 5k miles and I put about 2k more on it. Once removed i'll clean it up really nice.

It does not have the original tips. It has dual outlets on each side. Everything has been welded together except where it crosses over the axle. That still is a bolt on connection.

$400 plus shipping.

It's in Marysville and still on my car if you want to come listen to it before purchasing.

This system will polish up really nice if someone puts the time into it.

Sorry for the poor pics but so many requests so I went out at night and got them.....

Here's the pics...

That GMMG sounds badass though! It's a shame to let others drive your decision to dump it.

I ran an open exhaust like that on my GT and feel you on making the effort to be in a good standing with the neighbors. I even got some complaints from co workers as I'd bomb into the parking. THAT was unexpected.

True about the decision but on the plus side it will make it A LOT easier to sneak out of work a few minutes earlier or sneak in a few minutes late. Its tough when they hear you start your car from the other end of the building.

Not to mention that the car is only going to get louder as I make more mods to the motor.

I would be interested to see, which is louder, the GMMG or TD's. Cause everyone says mine is loud, But I don't notice it anymore. I know it sets off car alarms and stuff. But My wife does that, when she screams at me from inside the house!!!! lol.

Without hearing yours i'd lean toward the GMMG only because it exits the rear of the car instead of under it. I think dumping under the car kinda reduces the noise level some.

Just last night I was driving down 67th from Marysville toward Arlington and some stupid kid in a saturn was taunting me so I dropped it in 2nd at about 50 and hammered it till about 100. My friend who lives about 2 miles west of 67th said "was that you a few minutes ago?" referring to my car. He heard it at least 2 miles away! Now that is ******* loud.

Personally I LOVE the look & sound of the GMMG exhaust. Maybe we should try putting a resonator in the I-pipe first? That does take the edge off the exhasut note and doesnt hurt performance. They only cost $40. Wanna try mine?

My headers have a resonator at each collector. Is yours kinda like a glasspack as in you can look right through it? Might be worth a try.

I was the previous owner and can vouch for this exhaust.
Oh man. That sucks that your looking again. Well, I am thankful you did trade with me. Someone will love this exhaust. It is vicious sounding.

Um... So you said "sneak away to work".... dont you mean "sneak home late at night"? Hahahaha

See ya Saturday bro. Good luck with the sale.

Have any idea roughly what the shipping may cost to 18969 Pennsylvania? I wish I knew what catbacks generally weigh then I could figure it out.

It's not all that heavy however due to the size of the box it will have to be shipped in UPS will charge more than just the weight. I'm guessing 50 bucks shipping.

I agree you might be being a ***** at this point...

if you want to quiet it down a tad, especially if you have rasp, buy a custom length chamber from either stainless works ($$$) or classic chambered (not stainless, so about half the cost) ... just toss it right into that Y-I interchange and call it good... it'll mellow it out slightly, and reduce the sound a bit... it's just enough...

for me though, I'm running LT's ORY and the GMMG and though it has the rasp (doesn't bother me), I love it, I don't care what others think in the AM or PM ... adding the cam just made it so much nicer... for me.

and thats what counts.

Lots of pm's with interest in this system. I will not hold it for anyone.

It will be ready to ship by Wednesday 11/28.

NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 and it's yours.

Balance payable after I figure out what it will cost to ship.
