Funny thing is we rented it on blu-ray and ironically we're gonna go downstairs and watch it since we can't get to work lol.

You're exatly right about the climatic changes. 10,000 years ago you would be under a mile of ice right now so there's no doubt that it's getting warmer.

There IS doubt on the cause. I don't see how "carbon credits" will change anything. Taking money out of my pocket and transfering it to some chump in Washington DC will not make it any cooler.

well we are alive sort of here, they closed down one of the schools here due to the road flooding out & I almost didnt make it back in to town from that school. Then they let the 2 middle schools & the high school out 20mins early only to keep those kids that lived up in the areas that the road was closed at the school.

glad we had power when we got home but May not have school tomorrow due to that road being closed.

Depends on how far away he lives from me, depends on how bad it is, I heard Richel (I think its how it spelled) is closed & Bold Hills is closed as well. its fairly nasty out here, & I live out on Lawerance lake.

He lives out past you on Deschutes Dr..off or Lawrence lake and neat roads/driftwood Valley..and they live just across the road from the river...Their house is high enough so it is safe, but they have to wade through a field behind their house if they want out and thats only if the main road is passable..and right now it isn't...

My in laws over in Poulsbo, said they got close to 5 inches of rain, and 6 to 7 inches of snow, I think thats what they said, But Bond road is closed down due to Mud slides. So they are pretty stuck were they are. Up here in Oak Harbor we have gotten like maybe at the most 1/2 inch of rain. lol.

Okay, maybe I can put this in terms that even a liberal can understand.

Measuring the climate of the earth using the last 100 years worth of data is like measuring the performance of a car in the quarter mile by measuring the last .0000024 inches and taxing me on the trend.

Okay, maybe I can put this in terms that even a liberal can understand.
Well, maybe not.....

I'm with you. The scientific community is still wondering which 'highly accredited' group of scientists taught and trained Mr. Gore so that he could become the climatology expert that he is today! Their names seem to be missing in the credits of his movies and every other publication he has made about global warming.

Here's a climate prediction for you: 10 years from now when the world isn't gone and dead due to global warming as Mr. Gore predicts, he himself will die after being hit by a tsunami wave of

I'll to that!

Just got power back yesterday and internet today. I'm inland from the mouth of the Columbia 12 miles. Thousands of trees down. Really amazing amount of damage. Got trapped at home and had to drive the TA out a muddy logging road just to get beer. So that's serious, I'm telling ya.
