That's why I asked. We all tend to use the term Drag Radial as a catch all name for DOT drag tires, but it doesn't work with the M/T naming system as their Drag Radial is a non-DOT slick.

Anyhow, got it. I think you'll probably be keeping that #1 spot all to yourself this year.

Nice job, got way up in the 10's! How was the 60's and 1/8? You know I was getting too cozy in that #4 spot.

Also, as your last posted time said you were running slicks, is this on slicks as well? I'll assume you're sticking with the slicks unless you say otherwise.

Good time though!!!

VERY NICE!

We are hoping to make a few N2O shake down passes this coming weekend

Brand new set of 28x13.5 Hossier QTP tires sitting on it now.

DOT approved of course!

Thanks guys! Yea its on slicks so its fine if you dont want to post me up. Ill switch to tw streets next year, be the same compound and everything so basically identical.
Track was prepped well, 60 degrees, and got the car tuned. 566rwhp. Got the nos tuned a bit better and learned how to launch. I was trying to spray more but my shark nozzle is topped out i think, so i can put about 180 to the wheels down. I pulled a 1.477 60' which is way better than before 1/8th was....6.67@103mph
I am very pleased with my stock block! Too bad i didnt have a second nozzle to hit and see what i could do!

I know there's a few new times to post from today. Here's my new best...
60' - 2.005
1/4 - 13.106
mph - 108.49

I was having traction issues all day long. If I can get a good solid launch with this setup I definitely have a chance to hit the 12.99 mark.

The one I got on video was a 10.6 @ 132, but I know that wasn't his best of the day.

Over all the car ran well. I am still having problems with juice. Turns out it is the controler.

Going back to basics. Going to hit that Bitch out of the hole with every thing its got this weekend at the all chevy drags. Let hope it doesn't go up more then 4 ft and I can keep it straight!

Ran another 8, got a new fastest 1/8 mile - 125.4mph, but the SS's passenger side turbo took a crap. Poor track personnel thought it caught fire as much smoke was coming out of the mufflers. No biggie, they needed reworking any way. 3 years of running them without any problems, they were due. Did get to weigh the SS, 3,550lbs . Maybe we'll loose a little weight - the shop guys suggested all kinds of crap to include me loosing weight

Oh well. Track is closed, I'm done for this year. Next year: bigger, stronger, lighter, faster
