Talking You know what's cool?

Lifting a 7100lb truck with the push of a button and never having to bend over to work on it.

i would love to have the 24 valve cummins!
when i was working in the diesel performance shop we turned soooo many cummins up and my fave was an 06 with a 5 inch catback and intake.

btw is that thing a 6 speed? and a lift would have been amazing when we were working on the trucks! nothing like putting a turbo back on a ford and the socket coming off and smacking you in the teeth! (happened to me only with a 12 inch extention)

It's an auto...48re. Figured I'd be different with this truck, every vehicle I've owned since the end of '01 has been a stick. That and I don't like the gear ratios in the new G56 trannies.

As for mods, not really doing much. Just rotating tires, changing oil, putting the rancho rs9000 shocks on it and also putting the torklift frame mount camper tie downs on it for when I eventually get a camper. Then it's getting a good cleaning inside and out, try to buff out some minor scratches, etc etc etc...all the stuff I've been gonna do for a while but haven't gotten around to it. Finally got time and empty lift to play with it for a few days. I dunno how I did anything before we put that lift in, lol. Oh yeah, the other thing I did was put the orange lights on the roof, dunno why, just like 'em. That was scary tho, drilling holes in the roof! They're oem Mopar lights, even come with a neat template and everything, was pretty neat.
