Default we did it, found a motorhome!

Can you believe this 32' class A and sold for under 14K. Made the deal today, and bringing it home Friday. Next time at the track, we'll be camping with ya and doing it right.

Now staying at the track all weekend long won't be a problem, right?
Congrats

Yeah that's the idea Robert! Can you believe the seller also offered a full 2 year warranty, for anything that goes wrong, even a light bulb! When he said that, I was like

What kind of engine does it have? Enough left over to pull your trailer I hope.

It's amazing how much RVs depreciate.

Thanks Aron, yes there are some motivated sellers out there. Just takes a while to find the right deal. This one sold well under bank value.

Sadly its a 460. I wanted a Chevy, but this was too good to pass! It has a gross combined rating (max capacity) of 25000lb, and gvwr of 17000lb. That means roughly 8000lb towing/cargo capacity, within spec!

That's great because I saw others rated at 3000lb capacity in specs, but hitched over twice that, and supposedly does the job. BTW, my enclosed trailer is 3000lb empty, add the vette maybe 3200lb more. So yeah, room to spare for water, tools, grill, beer and pretzles.

Actually in the RV world you're FAR better off with the Ford (this is from an unbiased party). The engine(s) are no big deal, but the Ford Chassis has a wider track, and works far better then the Chev chassis. Looks real nice, and a great buy, congrats!

Yeah, there couldn't be a better time to buy an RV than right now... I was reading an article the other day that said because of the gas prices, Winnebago's sales have dropped over 75%. Insane.
