I wish I could have it done but it won't really be touched until this time next year, at the soonest, once I get my degree and job.
You can drive the 02. Not sure whose it is as mine is a 2000 but I'm fine with you driving someone else's car, lol
2006 was the first official year. That was the year I bought my current 2000.

any semi local shops that would be willing to make the drive, set up a table or booth, donate things for raffle, etc is more than welcome! hawksthirdgen, vengeance, zeus, RPM, tick performance, carolina speed and salvage, ANYONE affiliated with fbodies/LS1/LT1 stuff that is willing to help us out......you are more than welcome.

wouldnt we be extremely outnumbered if we did it during mustang week? kinda seems like we were tryin to steal their thunder or something (dont we do that enough at the strip?)

i agree.....although thats not the case...the mustang guys would feel that way. even having it the weekend before, many stangs are already in the area for their week ahead. we could still have a friendly comp with them and not be stealing their thunder. and yes, we would be GREATLY outnumbered.

im just not sure if tehy require a fee upfront or anything like that. if thats the case, we may be out of luck. it does say on their site that they require a 20 car minimum for the dyno.
does anyone know if there are noise ordinants or papers we would have to sign to have a dyno in downtown MB?

infinite......once we get this site up and running, i think it would be ncie to possibly have a chatroom feature on it. this way we can all get on there and share ideas at once. cyberspace meeting FTW. thanks everyone for showing a genuine interest in this.....this was the big question mark when terry, tim, and i decided to try to give this a GO, whether or not we would receive aid. it looks like we wont be short on help at all, and we appreciate it!

oh and its gay to have fbody week the same week as mustang week.... we wouldnt raise any money for next year... schedule conflicts and there are gonna be more mustangs than fbodys by a long shot...

I don't understand how it's gay...........if we get 100+ commitments we'll have it the week before........but if I had to drive 10+ hrs......I'd want to see more than 50 cars. Anyway, let's get some real interest so we can make it worth a trip for the guys traveling a long distance.

i don't think it'll be a problem to have 100+ people, this event is shaping up pretty well right now. I just don't think it would be wise to have our weekend during a week dedicated to mustangs. kind of defeats the purpose.
