Whats the benifit of registering vs just going? I am not sure what car we would even carry...I would like to take our T-Bucket if I have it ready but who knows.
Also is there a pretty good sized car corral there?

In all there is 10k+ cars. I couldn't tell you about registering vs going ive never registered anything so i don't know. But i can say that it is a great group of people BUT the only problem at this point is if you haven't already got a room reserved then you more than likely aren't going to find anything under 300 a night. Me and the family look forward to it every year we even book our room almost a year a head of time. All you guys going feel free in Pm'ing me and we can try to get up together or something. A lot of the guys on the local board always get together every year here.

I'll be down there that Friday morning. I think the advantage of registering is being able to actually drive into the events they have (maybe more)? I have not ever registered either.. MOST of OTracing (Central MS) will be down there throughout the week. Can't wait!

9:07PM SUNDAY, JUST GOT BACK!
I have NEVER seen the 1st day of CTC as crowed as it was TODAY, incredible is all I can say! So after I detailed my car until noon and then watched the Saints game we drove over to the Coast about 4:30pm and EVERYTHING is packed! I was shocked and I am sure the weather was a big factor. I took as many pics as I could before my battery died on my camera, never dreamed there would be this many cars there today!

And FWIW the difference between registered and not is:
There are special areas and events registered cars can enter, non registered cannot, that's it. I will continue to register now that I am grandfathered in just because, IMHO Ocean Springs is the place to go, Bay St Louis is coming back too but the hurricane changed it a lot, PM if anyone need's more info
Cleaned my beast today:
