I just get upset when I see badges on a z28 its not an SS therefore shouldn't have SS badges... You'd be surprised how many people I've seen over the years buy a what they thought was an ss only to be disappointed...

Yes, Heaven forbid someone does the exact same thing SLP did to their over priced "real" version...

Just to throw my .02 in just because i started this thread. If anyone buys a car without doing a carfax or any other research on it, like just opening the door and looking at the sticker(s) deserves what they get. Oh and by the way I think that is a bad *** lookin car. Love the BGM

Nothing against worth but the ever Fbody stepped off that assembly line a z28 or Trans Am. The only time I would have an issue is that when it was being sold, that the selling didnt state it is not a real one, but at the same time the buyer should be verifying RPO codes and other resources.

imitation is greatest form of flattery! so what if its a clone there the same damn car with a fancy hood and wheels yeah if its a true ss or ws6 its gott a lil more prestige to it but dont get all snobby about having it! damn look how long people have been cloning gm muscle. it aint gonna stop anytime soon. how many 454ss chevelles have you seen? i can promise way more than gm built! and gnx's how many of those black beautys are out there? gm only built a handfull of special cars and not everyone has been able to to find or afford one so there is nothing wrong cloning a car as long as you dont try and sell it for what a real one is worth because that would be shady

My car is a NON-ws.6 but has a nice Ws.9 Hood from US exotic and 2000/2001 and older WS.6 rims. Def looks awesome, like stock. I personally do not want to put the badge on it.

The only 4th gen SS worthy enough to have the badge are the very limited LT4 cars that were built in 97. Ironically enough, even those were done by SLP...ALL the other 4th gen SS/WS6 cars are just an overpriced sticker package with a few extra bits thrown in here and there to make people think they got their money's worth. No "birth certificate" (do people really call it that outside of the internet?) is going to prove anything other than you paid way too damn much.
