Default Estimate to paint SS hood/SS spoiler

Hey guys, I was just wondering what you guys have paid to have an SS hood and spoiler painted?

Alot of it is going to depend on where you have it done and by whom. If you take it to a really good shop expect to pay $400-$500 to have them both painted. If you go to a production style shop it could be half that much. It depends on the quality of the paint they use and what there shop rates are.

As stated above you can get a cheap job for 200-300 bucks. A nice, decent job going to run around 400-500

id say about 500 or more depending on the materials they use and labor rates in your area. up where i am labor rates for our shop are $48 an hour for paint and refinishing plus materials.

If the SS hood is OEM, it should line up fine, if it's aftermarket, unless they mess with it, chances are it will not look right.

Expect to pay some $$$

What color BTW, since if its a metallic there may be more work involved.

Yeah, it's a Medium Red Metallic. I don't mind paying the $500 that actually sounds cheap, I was expecting more along the lines of $700-$900.

color depends pewter add alot! HAHAH i'd charge around 600-700 and thats installed
