i think that looks awsome. good job! id personally go with a superhawk hood over teh mecham but thats just my opinion. make sure to post some more pics when you get the hood done...im interested to see how it turns out.

 

That would take alot of guts to actually go through with that paint job but you know what it turned out great i like it! As stated before a set of y2k wheels to match would look smokin on there.

That's the sickest hood if you ask me. I have a WS-9 outlaw and i wish i would have chosen the Superhawk.

I've been painting a couple of things with that SEM hotrod black and i must say its pretty cool stuff. It has its little tricks, like throwing a light dust on the last coat to make it look the flattest. It also takes forever to dry.

 

fuggin LOVE the car! i was JUST about to make a post asking if anyone has flat blacked their car yet... let alone a formy, and BAM ur thread was at the top! lol... looks sooo sick! makes me want to do it! Lookin forward to seeing the finished product with the wheels and the motor work!

 

I swear bro this thread is never gonna die. People just keep seeing it and it goes back to the top. It's an awesome car that's getting awesome'er every month or so. Right now, superhawk hood is being located and wheels/tires are being decided on. The car is getting a leather wrapped interior (dash included) as well. As the build goes on JLee will be updating...I HOPE!

I think the Mecham would look better...but then again I haven't really got a good look at the superhawk hood. BTW theres a someone on this site selling one here

Join the club bro. Roger at US Exotics used to make them but I haven't seen one pop up in a long while. Word is he's doing viper stuff now. And since he gets $12k+ per hood, I can see why he stopped putting his efforts in the fbody stuff.
There is a guy on ebay that's selling knockoffs for like $300 or some ****. I have heard an awful lot of bad things about fitment and quality though.

I know he did with the WS9 hood...which is great and all 'cause VFN makes it. But it sure would be nice to have that superhawk available.

 

Just picked her up today, she made it to Hawaii with only a few scuffs (all repairs on the house, thank you navy) I have lots of work to do, i have heard talks of bringing the track back to oahu. Videos eventually.

Great looking car. I love the 18" GTO wheels but some black CCW's would look killer.
