Pics of my red SS with ghost flames Since I posted a vid and pics of my exhaust in the external section I thought I would post some pics of my paint job too.
Since I run my parents body shop I wanted to repaint my front end and add something custom yet subtle. I really didnt know what I wanted....so our painter came up with his own idea. He painted the 30th stripes on my car black along with the top of the rear spoiler. He then added gold pearl ghost flames in the stripes and dusted the rear spoiler with gold pearl.
Just glancing at the car it looks like plain ol black stripes. But when the sun hits it the flames in the stripes glow. The ghost flames go all the way up the stripe although its kinda hard to see in the pics. I love it and I havent seen anyone else with a scheme like this. Now dont go and copy mine

Subtle, and I like it. Like you said, the flames aren't really noticable in the first picture from further away. I think its really cool they're painted on and not decals!

I thought I saw that done to one of the cars on overhaulin a while back. If I remember correctly, it had silver stripes with ghost flames in them.

I dont have tips anymore. True duals dumped at the axle took care of that. I didnt like the tips either. I posted a vid in the external section.
