With all the microchipping they can do these days, there is no reason that paint doesnt matchup right. It definately has a blue hue to it.

so whats the best way to get the valence painted? i just bought an unpainted valence, its black and my car is artic white! paint it on the car? paint off the car and install it?

I can't see anything wrong in the pics, but it might
(or might not) help you to know that every SLP-
installed piece on my SS slightly mismatches the
factory paint (silver for silver). Hood, spoiler, etc.
are all just a hair "off".
