got CME valance painted.. but doesnt look quite right
today this morning i dropped off my car to get the valance painted, i gave the guy the paint code days before and everything.. he got the right paint.. but today i went with a friend to pick it up and right away my friend told me it looks different, the white is darker and my friend says its because the primer was too dark or something along those lines if that makes sense ..... i told the body shop guy and he told me to bring it back if he wants it to lighten it up.. when you see the car it definitely has 2 shades of white
i went to a muffler shop to get the CME exhaust put on later and everyone there also pointed out the white doesn't match the rest of the car... i guess it is noticeable... since the body shop guy told me to take it back and i think i am...
here are some pics and after looking at the pics i noticed its hard to see the difference but tomorrow morning i will take better UPCLOSE pictures!
a pic i took right now
what do you guys think?
and yes i should resize the pics
btw, im adding a SS spoiler to complete the look, no side shots because i still got the 4x4 mod which should be gone by next week

Get that girl lower to the ground and you probably couldn't tell it was darker. I like that setup though, btw what did you do to your car to get it up that high?

He had to know it didn't match. Looks like he used a grey primer on it. If that panel was black when you got it you may never get the color exactly the same. I've got the same problem with my Wings West bodykit so i took it off and it's hangin' on my wall in the garage. When I repaint my car I'll add the kit back on so it color matches... Good luck to ya!!

well your car is 8 years old... the paint on your car is probably going to be faded a little, if you gave the guy a paint code then its going to be brand new paint not blended.
