What's my hood worth?
Original Firehawk hood. The paint looks great except for it needs repainted because of a few paint peels on it. See pics...
what happened here: long story...
If I decided to sell it, how much should I sell it for??

I don't think you'll get $450 or $500 for it unfortunately...it's off of a rare car and it's an awesome hood but with the paint being bad like that and the economy being so awful you might get $350 or $400 (that's if you're lucky). Someone would have to do a bit of work on it to get it to look nice too. Is the fiberglass damaged at all? That would make a difference. I would say keep it and repaint it.

whoa everyone. lol. didn't realize this thread progressed. anyhow, I've decided to keep the hood because I was going to replace it with a Raptor hood until I found out about the front of the nose on the hoods/bumper are different. as far as the hoods condition, it's just the paint.

its the same bumper, they just cut a little notch out of it. If you found someone local, you could simply trade them bumpers. If its stopping you from getting your car to look the way you want it, then do it! lol. ill pm you my address.......lol JJ i have an LT1 but seriously though.
