Default door panel coming off? What kind of glue?

My driver's side door outer piece (outermost painted piece) is starting to come off of the rest of the door...what kind of adhesive should I use to fix this? I have a picture but I can't post it until I get home. Perhaps others have had this problem? Thanks~

Hmmm...took it to the body shop for an estimate and he said they'll need to use PanelBond, some $60/tube glue...and to do it properly since the whole door panel is coming off they'd have to remove it. I tend to agree with his advice since it's a custom shop with a lot of good feedback.

I was told the same thing by a guy with a shop, though mine is not peeling enough to require removing the door...yet.

Yeah definitely get it panel bonded... If you don't do it right the first time, the second time is much worse.

You may use a heat gun to heat the glue when removing it and just go slow and take your time. If you break the skin, it's to the dealer for you and it's not cheap.

yeah i think that the automix 8115 is a corvette panel adhesive, the issue with it is that it is about $35 and the applicator gun is like$65
