I just did mine a couple of weeks ago. and I already got a ticket. Thats sux anyways here a pic.

no need to wetsand before you clear it, the clear will add more orange peel.
how exactly do you wet sand it then? how much? I started to and you could instantly see that it was going thru the clear coat. using 2500grit

how thick/coats of clear should I put on? I'm trying it again and there is 3 coats.

if it's "instantly" going through the clear coat, you didnt put near enough. i put 1 light coat of clear, and then 2 medium coats. if you are sanding, and the water turns black, thats a sign it has gone through the clear. if the water from sanding stays chalky lookin, its ok.

yup, I stripped the clear and started over, I put 2 light coats, and 3 heavier ones, it still is matte coloring in appearance, but I have yet to attempt the wet sanding again...going to shortly with a friend that has done it plenty of times.
