Which Color Semi Flat or Flat Black on berger panel..!!
I'm in the process of doing my berger panel and I wanted to know which color do you guys recommend ?Only for the people who have done the work.!! I stuck between Semi Flat or Flat black. I want a color that won't give me that dull look that I've seen before. But I also don't want it too shiny.!!! (Like a Gloss paint) I'm leading toward semi but I still don't know. Can anyone help me out.!! I want it too look as good as a original berger pannel.
Also Can someone point me in the right direction to preping the panel too. I've read some threads on here but there is alot of mix opinions on here. Money is not an issue.. I have auto body guy but I just don't wanna spend the dough if I can do it cheaper and still look good..

Satin, matte, and flat all suck! My cars twilight flat black it has metallic in it but in the sun the metallic makes it look grayish. Try a test panel with each color and match it up to your car.

I used satin on my car but its white, a buddy wanted his red SS done so we used gloss and it looks killer. That is a tough call but definitely don't use regular flat paint it will show water marks and fingerprints looks terrible

But personally I'd go for flat black. I first painted my berger semi-gloss (satin) black and it was still too shiny for me, it didn't contrast enough with the shine of the rest of the paint. So I repainted it flat black, looks great now.
