these are pics of a 94 Formula that was at indy last year. it had a 96-97 WS6 hood and the T/A spoiler. it basically looked like a 96/97 firehawk hardtop.

Yeah I think that's a sick look with the Ws6 hood as well, more like a combo package. Make a Firehawk clone, I wont tell anyone.

Default question on alignement of trans am hatch on 2002 firebird!?!?!?!

Hey guys, I have a 2002 Firebird and i bought a trans am hatch and put it on the car. my question is about how to make it a flush alignment like the original hatch. The hatch will sit flush and look normal when i do not have the strong arms on it, but as soon as i put the strong arms on it the edges will flare up enough to stick your finger inbetween the fender and the hatch. I will show what i mean in pictures. I know the strong arms are not to stiff because they are not even strong enough to hold the hatch up by itself. i tried different strong arms but also had the same problem. Can someone please help me and give me some advice! i just had the thing repainted and i would really like it too sit right with the strong arms on it!!!

PICTURE WITH NO STRONG ARMS ATTACHED!

please don't put a TA spoiler on a firebird or formula...it looks out of place and downright awful without the TA rear bumper...

I bought the proper Trans Am hatch struts and I don't have a huge issue. It does sit a little high but adjusting the bump stops pretty much fixed my issue.

Looks fine to me. You just need to get some good exhaust tips like Corsa Clones or just some huge *** tips to tie it all together.

Compare this:

To this:

the Formula spoiler looks weak and boring compared to the smooth yet aggressive nature of the rest of the car design.

Thanks. They're custom tips sold by 6LE... 1 of 2 sets in existence at the moment.
