I'm sure it was a ton of work, but the results look to be worth it.

Just curious, what shop are you having everything done at?

That looks awesome man. Post up pictures when you get an engine in there. What colors are you going with on the valvecovers, intake, etc.?

BUt this comment right here... I completely agree with both statements.

Yes. Its A LOT of work...

And i see that the black does hide it so well.. Its almost not even worth it...

So its your fault... I will probably be repainting my whole car now... Thanks

No, i am not a painter there. I know the guy who owns it. Man this whole engine bay was rattle canned.... well except for the filler primer part. He hooked it up on that. Great guy for letting me do work there.

I will for sure. The intake is satin black and turned out great! I do need to cut the SOM FRC's to fit the fast intake so those wont be ready immediately. Shortly soon after it is back running though. Valve covers are staying as they are .... the FRC's hide those very well. I was going to go with black on them but i ran out of time. It can always be done later. Should have the car back by the weekend.

Yep... I have mad rattle can skilz.

I used a Rustoleum satin black that you can get at auto zone. Has a fan spray and all. No clear.... that would take away from the satin effect. Painted my berger panel with this stuff and it is still immaculate after 2+ years on the car.

It looks way better in person IMO..... the satin gives off weird reflections that are not there in person.

That is because you are Canadian and you guys do everything backwards...... even the way you spell color.

All jokes brutha.... i use to live in Toronto. Good times.

Really it was a toss up on the color..... black or SOM. I chose satin black because i like the old school look of black everywhere and didn't want gloss.
