Default Engine bay progress for the new build

I am waiting on the new motor and it should be ready in about a weeks time. I am relocating the battery and the fuse box.... also abs !. Wrapped all electrical lines with electrical tape (total of about 8 rolls of e-tape). I am filling holes and smoothing seams all over the bay today. Painting the bay satin black this weekend after all the prep is done. Not cutting any corners here. It should look pretty bitch once it is all done. Here is where i am right now.

Your car is going look awesome, I really wish I had the funds to start a project with my Comp TA. I would really like to clean her up, but my daughter comes first and raising a child by yourself is expensive as hell.

Where are you putting the fuses and ABS block? Also, did you weld the seam that is parallel to where the battery and fuses sit or bondo?

Looks good.

The ABS block is going bye bye.... went with a ABS delete kit from SJM < sponsor on here. The fuse boxes go through the hole beneath where they sit and i will be making a lexan cover for that area and painting it as well. I used seam sealer to shave the seam on both sides and on top of the strut towers... then used a glazing putty to finish it off.... then paint.

Thanks.... lot of work shaving the strut towers .... if i did this again i would recommend not doing it. Only because the black hides it so well.
