You should be fine..... i painted my intake with this and i doubt the exhaust heats that panel up at all.

Simple, Clean, and Understated I love it! I actually chose to do semi-gloss under the hood of my 69 but yours looks great. We used rust-oleum too

I've used rustoleum and Duplicolor from cans and I like Rustoleum 10x's better for a cheap black paint job I'm sticking with that from now on.

hm, I'm starting to think of doing rustoleaum instead of duplicolor GM paint equivalent.

Thanks guys....

Installed my 408 and got it tuned.... Put down 520/513 on a base tune with only 19* of timing at WOT ..... still got some work to do with the tune.
