Default new fender color

Had my fender replaced and had it painted off the car and installed it myself..however now since its new paint it looks darker than the rest of the car. Only really notice in direct sunlight from the side. But it bugs me. Is there anything I can do to reduce this differece between old and new paint? Thanks!

Probably the only thing you can do is take it back to the shop and have the fender blended in with the other panels.

Yea thats what i had about figured...like i said i can hardly tell otherwise its just a small issue that irks me time to time. ill probably leave it till i paint the car in the future. i was just wondering if there was something i could do short term like buffing/wetsanding. but i can live with it...its pretty hard to match 8 year old faded black anyways so the blend would most likely encompass the entire side of the car. At which point i might as well just paint the whole car eventually once its no longer on DD duty.
