Default who likes my fog light cover?

who likes my fog light cover? I have made 2 second one is in progress.

next time I'll cover the glass w/ tape then make the mark w/ sharpie. hopefully the weather will fade the black mark.

I'm thinking about useing clear plastic tubeing around the outside of glass.

"Goo gone" will take the sharpie off no problem. You can get it at walmart or any place like that. I think it looks good, something differant.

thanks for the compliment, I have goo gone I'll clean it up & take better images away from the fence.

I have been reading you're threads (wide body) over the years you have one cool looking camaro.congrates.

PS the cover it actualley looks preaty good. I'll admit to needs refinement. I think the clear plastic tubeing will make a huge differnce for the better.

thanks for any constructive critazion.

here's the orginal version from many years ago. fog lights & brake hole.

Instead of the plastic I would actually use a small diameter rubber hose, slit all the way down the side and then put it on the glass like a weatherstripping/trim piece.

Looks kind of cool...

^^What I am talking about would allow you to cover the screw hole and still access it (by just pulling rubber back) as well...

Default update

removed the sharpie ink, thanks Mcnord for the sugestion goo gone worked great.

I added a 3rd attachment now am thinking a 4th would look more uniform.

here's a image of the refinement of fog light cover 1. (away from fence)

it's not prefect yet. any sugestions is apresheated.

I think GM should have made fog light covers for these cars.

I like the idea a lot. Try getting some countersunk screws, that way they'll be flat and you can make a trim ring out of thin plastic or at least vinyl to cover them up.

i'm not gonna lie man, if the screws weren't there, i'd never know they were there. it kinda looks like the screws
are just floating there. i just don't really see any benefit to them.

not trying to sound like/be an *** in any way. i just dont really see the point.
