Default Removed RS kit

So yesterday I removed the RS kit off my 2001 Camaro Z28 and I was left with holes on my front/rear bumper and sideskirts after removing the riveted brackets.

The only holes that bother me are the ones on the sideskirts only because they are visible and the area is bare metal(rust).

Have any of you got the holes covered at a body shop?

I just removed mine but I'm going to fix it myself. Not sure what I plan to use to fill them in, thinking fiberglass but even if you've never done bodywork you could still cover it up enough to where no one would really notice.

If the RS kit is just going to be gathering dust, I wouldn't mind taking the front skirts off your hands

Went to a local bodyshop for a estimate and they advised that the holes will need to be welded and then grinded down... Afterwards repaint the rocker panel

Bastards quoted me $940 to fix. *facepalm*

Gonna go check out other local body shops

Passenger side

Touched up the holes yesterday to prevent rust in the mean time til I find a good shop to patch 'em up for a reasonable amount.

$14 for touch up paint, GM? *facepalm*

Seriously?

Doesn't look too bad and why didn't you just goto autozone for the paint? My car isn't a show car and no one would notice if I filled it and not welded but thats just me. Shop around and see I guess.

I removed my RS kit (y3k) awhile back. When I first bought the car it was missing the front peices.I left the extra little spoiler on for now.Was planning on removing it but just might leave it on to make it different instead ol plain jane Z28 spoiler.Havent fixed any of the holes yet but mostly will get to where the side skirts were 1st.Only ones you can see without getting down on the ground and start looking for em.

Autozone didn't carry black touch up paint.

My car isn't a show car either but I don't want to do a mickey mouse job on the body of the car regardless if it is visible or not.
