Default Is this normal?

I've been meaning to post this for a while but just never got around to it. I have this separation between the windshield and A-Pillar.

It definitely doesn't look right, but just wondering if its a normal thing with these cars and if theres anything I can do about it. It's a 99 TA btw.

Looks like you have some alignment issues there. They should def be closer than that. Not sure how to go about correcting though. Do you have subframe connectors?

Post up a pic with the t top out and lets take a look

I have a set of 3 point SFCs but i havent put them on yet. They'll be going on which should help, but not correct it.

I'll try to get some more pics up tomorrow.

Nope never raced it or beat on it. I've only owned it for a couple years but it was a one owner car and I don't think the previous owner raced it either.

Not since I've owned it, but I have no idea before me. I gotta bring it by my body shop and see what they think.

I dont think its the weather stripping, it looks like the windshield trip is separating from the a pillar.

I had my windshield replaced and when i got it back it looked just like that! After a few months (mine was on the passenger side so it didnt bug me because i didnt have to look at it) the heat down here in SC made it sink down and look almost normal enough to where its not really noticable. but i do feel your pain my dad raised hell with how crappy it looked when it came out of the shop.

As stated above, mine also looks off after having a windshield replaced. I'm guessing the aftermarket windshield replacements arent as good as the factory glass. I actually pushed down on mine seeing if it moved & cracked it. Luckily it cracked at a perfect 45* where it cant spread. I just let it like that since it was my stupid fault. It doesnt leak but the fitment of the windshield doesnt make me happy.

Yea I might try to have my body shop take the windshield out and put it back in and see what happens.

Do you not have full glass? Just break the damn thing, and call a glass company and have them replace it.

Yes I do have full glass with no deductible, but I wasn't gonna discuss insurance fraud on a public forum.
