Default Painting Calipers in the cold.

Can I paint my calipers at 48 degrees outside? What extra precautions should I take in this weather?

I would personally just wait till it's warmer it's like a 30 min job to paint both with taping and then you just have to wait for them to dry.

If you must paint them now I would put some sort of heatlamp or something on them so they will dry

My bird is red, so I'm thinking red for the calipers, doing the bracket black, and putting a "Firebird" vinyl on the calipers. But if anyone has any other color suggestions or pics I'm looking for other ideas just in case.

I need to redo my hatch tint. I'm the third owner of my bird and someone cleaned the rear hatch with an ammonia based cleaner and now it's all bubbled

depending on the paint you may be able to get away with it. I know my caliper paint says it can only be applied over 21deg cel/70f + so i gotta wait til summer too

Makes no difference. I did mine when it was 30 degrees out or colder. Just have to wait until they dry to do other coats. Get the fast drying caliper paint and clear coat and you will be fine!

Mine turned out really good.
