That really sucks man.

The only way this is gonna work in court is if you go get an estimate from another shop so that the legal parties can see that this should have been an equal trade.

Basically you know/can find out how much he sold your Camaro for from the people that bought it from him, so the estimate should be close to that.

Then in the fine print of the estimate you can mark down all of the things that he did not do that should have been done.

I happen to own a bodyshop, and cringe when I see this, but I see it all the time.

Damn noticed they even painted the rubber boot for the passenger door wires.I actually like the light blue it`s different looking. For a complete paint job,I`ve taken every body part off my car. Here is a photo of the passenger door jam, today the inside of the door will be finished thank god! This is what they should have done,I even took the mirror glass outta the mirror housing. The only thing on my car that is the orignal black will be the engine compartment.Damn it pisses me off what they did to that blue T/A.Go to paint an body work an check out my project, this is a complete paint job. First thing I noticed cause I do body work for a living, the lines on that car are so hacked. Not trying to bash your car but how could a body shop let it go.For the paint I like it.

There was no happy ending so I didn't come back to talk about it anymore lol. That was the worst fiasco ever. I don't think they would have even been capable of fixing it. It was terrible. Way worse than it looked when it went in to the shop! They were out of business and gone about a month later.

I put the car back together and sold it for like $5,600. It was a good car other than the horrendous paint and body work.

I took everything apart and repainted the engine bay satin black before I put the car back together with stock parts. It ended up looking pretty cool from 15ft, but up close it was so jacked. I was also worried all the paint would start falling off in a year so I just sold it.

I did sell it pretty much right away. It would have been sweet if the paint job wasn't so screwed up though.
