Default It Glows......

May have an odd idea for paint trim. Found Glow-in-the-Dark paint products. I'm thinking stripes and the "Camaro" lettering on the back, maybe some trimming...

I figure it's no more odd than neon lights, but I can't seam to find any examples on a car. Help me out guys.....

BTW, here's the paint link

I second that. That paint would be good for advertising though.

That'd work nice for pin stripes but I wouldn't go much bigger than that. I think Duplicolor makes some stuff like that too.

Any idea what the longevity of it is?
I think itd be a cool idea for outlining the stripes or something, but alot of stuff only retains its luminesence for a bit.

Isn't this pretty much a waste of money since the paint has to "charge" then only glows for 30 minutes on most of the colors you list?...

Pinstripes might look nice, I like that idea. Longevity goes from 30 min to 2 hours, depends on the mix purchased.

I just need to see it on something.....

Imo kinda of ricey for lettering, subtle things or pinstripes might be cool.
Heres a WAY better product.

iv painted with this stuff before on a bike. you have to get it EXTREMELY thick for it to work. Most of the time it is hardly noticable.
Now a tron style trans am sounds creative to me lol

Why? Why would a person ever put this stuff on a F-body? This has bad ideal written all over it!

That would be epic to change the print on the back of the car to say that as well...

I'll send someone $10 to get them started on it :-p

Better idea, consider electroluminescent vinyl.

Not sure which ones you were looking at, but the green ones I was looking at listed something like a 5 minute charge and 24 hour glow.
