Ive stated before that the body shop tried to straighten out the panel but couldnt do it. They had already welded the new quarter panel on it. I also tried but nothing worked.

Seeing it in person would change some of those opinions.

It could change some opinions, or it could be the shop you took it to just didn't want to do it and just slapped a new panel on it and let it ride. There is a huge different between not being able to do something and not wanting to do it. If it makes you happy to do it, then more power to you. Personally, I love to look through these kinds of threads and enjoy seeing the outcomes. With that being said though, it probably could have been pulled a little more. Something just tells me the shop you took it to has a "good enough for government....." kind of mentality and just let it ride with minimal pulling.

I agree that the shop didnt want to mess with the rear panel. I took it back three times and with no improvement. I like messing with cars and the fact that Im doing the work makes it worth while to me, no second guessing on other peoples work.

Posted some pics of the original damage in the first post. Got the panel where i want it and will probably start to tack it into place with adjusting here in the next couple of weeks. Starting to look better already.

To hell with pulling and mudding it, stick to your guns. I just replaced the DS quarter on my new to me WS6 because I am not interested in having bondo on my car, plus I was painting it anyway. I much rather go through the work of changing a quarter than having a pulled and repaired panel. Granted, you can fix it that way, but I hate bondo.
