Question VFN fiderglass hood

im lookn at putting a VFN hood on my 98 TA. it came with a unknown brand aftermarket hood on it when i bought it and it fits terrible. sense bodywork is needed on the car anyway the junk hood has to go.

Are any of you guys running VFN products? ive been told the are pretty good quality. im just wanting to get some input on them before i drop the money on it.

any respons would be great

Visibility is GREAT through a periscope! One thing I HATE about my 4" WS6 hood was the edges weren't filled and smooth. Just ugly fiberglass folded over fiberglass. I had to trip that lip and then fill the nasty gap. Also, the inside isn't "finished" either. It's like the inside panel got a square hole cut in it without the edges or big gap left unfinished. My car is a real WS6 and the hood would hit the factory latches for the factory lid. I not have trimmed and fiberglassed that gap (work in progress) and have a K&N FIPK kit anyway. I'll attach a couple pics.

ive been lookn high and low for a WS6 ram air box. any intrest in selling it?

i cant see crap out of my car with a stock style hood so theres no way i can run the 4in then. but im 6'7" so its kind of a tight fit in the car so i wont have room to look around the hood

The visibility is fine, it's a pin on hood and the cage is welded in. Thanks for the complement
